As a restorer, you must sift through pages spread across the table—sharing similar text and illustration styles—to identify specific page numbers that fit together into complete chapters. Simultaneously, you must locate lost bookmarks and botanical specimens tucked between the pages.
Gameplay & Skill Kits: “Text-Image Matching & Hidden Object Search”—players compare illuminated initial letters and marginalia across pages. Skill kits include a “UV Light” to reveal faded text or watermarks, and a “Paste Pen” that temporarily “glues” two pages together for a preview to see if they form a coherent passage.
Level Overview: Levels 1–2,400 cover the “Religious Texts” zone, featuring relatively uniform fonts and ornamentation. Levels 2,401–4,000 shift to the “Natural History Illustrations” zone, where intricate flora and fauna illustrations serve as key visual cues. Levels 4,001–5,200 challenge players in the “Sheet Music and Maps” zone, where dense lines and complex fold patterns require greater patience to decipher.
