Description
Discrepancies exist regarding piece placement between the printed version and the handwritten manuscript of an ancient chess record. You must compare the board layouts from both versions to identify “game-changing” positional errors—such as a misalignment resulting from castling or a pawn promotion occurring on the wrong square.
Gameplay & Skill Kits: “Logical Positional Spot-the-Difference”—requires judgment based on chess rules. Skill kits include “Move Simulation” (simulating a few moves to verify if a piece’s position is valid) and “Coordinate Grid” (displaying standard coordinates on the board for quick location).
Level Overview: Levels 1–3,200 cover the “Opening Phase,” with errors mostly found in common moves from the first three turns; Levels 3,201–4,800 focus on “Middlegame Tactics,” featuring errors in piece placement during pins or checks; Levels 4,801–6,000 cover “Endgame Patterns,” where few pieces remain, yet a single-square deviation can alter the outcome.
